Art and Film Career 
Jesse Fleming is an internationally exhibited artist and filmmaker. His work has shown at commercial galleries, public spaces, nonprofit galleries, and cultural institutions such as the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, Borusan Contemporary in Istanbul Turkey, the National Film Museum of Frankfurt Germany, the San Francisco Symphony, the Colburn School of Music Los Angeles, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Otis College of Art and Design, University of California at Los Angeles, the Hammer Museum Los Angeles, Landmarks at the University of Austin Texas, Creative Time New York City, LA Freewaves, the West Hollywood Public Arts Commission, and 356 Mission Road, Los Angeles. Fleming’s artwork is in the permanent public collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art, Borusan Contemporary in Istanbul, Turkey, and the Rutter Family Art Foundation in Norfolk, VA. He was listed by Artforum as one of the top ten Los Angeles artists of 2014.
As a filmmaker in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, Fleming has directed film projects with musicians Sigur Ros, Lykke Li, Fools Gold, and Explosions in the Sky. Fleming also directed works with artists Doug Aitken, Laura Owens, Matthew Barney, Kerry Tribe, Francesco Vezzoli, Cyprian Gaillard, Mark Lecky, Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchett, Merce Cunningam, Daniel Arsham, and for institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art New York, the Guggenheim New York, the Getty, MOCA Los Angeles, and the Hammer Museum, NY Times, and Bloomberg TV.
